Paramore - Brick by Boring Brick

Paramore's newest single, 'Brick by Boring Brick' off their newest album, "Brand New Eyes," is just like everything that Paramore have done before. Let's just say that 'Brick by Boring Brick' is exactly what has come to be expected from Nashville five piece Paramore.

'Brick by Boring Brick' is a characteristically Paramore song with Haley Williams soaring vocals and packed to the brim with energy. It has catchy lyrics and toe tapping beats that are guaranteed to be stuck in your head all day. At some points however it does all become a little cheesy with the hand claps and infectious "bada ba da bada ba da da." 'Brick by Boring Brick' is not very unique or original. The lyrics get repetitive and a little obnoxious at the end too.

'Brick by Boring Brick' is 4 minutes and 14 seconds of your life that you will never get back but will have you tapping you feet and humming the "bada ba's" for longer than the song is actually worth.

Paramore Interview From This Morning, When Asked About Possible Manila Concert, Guitarist Said "Tuloy Po Yung Concert sa Maynila! Excited Nga Kami Pumunta Diyan!" (well, something like that)

The rumor of a Paramore concert has been about 3 years deep now, however about a week ago, a new rumor surfaced that had a bit more credibility around it and I've been fielding so many questions from listeners that I had no choice but to contact the band and ask them for myself. We have had Hayley Williams on the show before but because she has been quite ill recently, we were unable to get her back for another phone call. However, I was able to get in touch with the guitarist, Taylor, whom we bothered at home with his parents to finally get the lowdown on whether or not indeed Paramore is coming to Manila. Kill Your Stereo recently caught up with Matt Wilson from Set Your Goals and he talked a little about next year's Soundwave festival. The topic of Hayley being on The Few That Remain came up in the interview...

Paramore are also on the Soundwave bill; will we be seeing Hayley Williams again lending some guest vocals on “The Few That Remain”, as she did on the recorded version?

Weezer, Paramore tapped for The Bamboozle 2010

From May 1-2, 2010, The Bamboozle will return to the parking lots of East Rutherford, New Jersey for its sixth go-around.
